On-Campus Social Worker Services

The school social worker service is provided by the Church of United Brethren in Christ Social Service Division (CUBC). The social worker will stay in school for two days a week, Mondays and Wednesdays to support teachers, students and parents.

  1. Identify children and families who are in need to provide appropriate counselling and relevant services;
  2. Help young children to build up emotional management and social skills, and enhance their physical and socio-emotional development.
  3. Promote the message of “Protecting Children” so that young children can grow up in a safe and healthy environment;
  4. Provide emotional support and parenting education for parents, in order to establish a good parent-child relationship and family harmony;
  5. Contact community groups, and collect resources to support preschool units and families with young children.
